ABOUT HAIKUESDAY

THE GOALS OF HAIKUESDAY ARE TWO-FOLD:
1. To make Tuesdays something to look forward to. Because, why not?
2. To allow you to express yourself and be creative. It’s time to exorcise those thoughts!

REMIND ME AGAIN WHAT HAIKU ARE!
For our purposes, we will use the following simple definition of a haiku: A haiku is a three line poem that follow a 5-7-5 syllabic structure whose subject matter is up to you. Another blogger described it as a one breath poem, which I think is absolutely beautiful.

For a technical defintion of a haiku, I defer you to Google :)

WHY WRITE HAIKU?
Honestly they’re fun, easy, and quick to write. They’re only 17 syllables long, you can write about anything you like, and the best part is that nothing has to rhyme!

DISCLAIMER: All haiku and photographs featured on this blog have been written by and are owned by the authors listed. If you would like to use any content from this blog please credit this blog and the listed authors. Thank you!
