East to west then back

Like a birdie on the move

No luggage lost. Ha!

A perfect morning

I want to go for a swim

Must find a pool first

Night. The moon hidden.

In a cowl of clouds and fog.

Eerily serene.

Fantasy football

For political dropouts

Trump shenanigans

Need a study break

Attempting my first haiku

Ahhh… running instead

The life of a dog.

Sleeping, eating, pooping, yuck!

Kirby is a pain.

Can’t count syllables

Fruit inspiration needed

To write my haiku

Don’t be a Muenster!

I know it may sound cheesy,

But brie kind to me!

“Puns are not funny.”

This is what my dad told me.

Like to annoy him.

Russian Collusion

Aha, like they didn’t know

Does it matter, ‘course not!

Ninety nine problems

But collusion with Kremlin

Ain’t one of them!

On the 405

It’s a freeway in Cali

Or a parking lot…

Sheer mountains rising

Breathtaking colors, blue sky

White water heaven

Eating lychee, yes!

Stop working, drop everything

Enjoy pure bliss

Teddy is the best

Loyal more so than the rest

Never makes a mess

White paws ---

A meow the size of dawn –

Tail waving --

Detroit was my home,

Till I traveled the world round,

Now it feels foreign.

The world is starving

The people need food in them

This haiku is deep

Songs from the 80s

They’re fun; Although they’re old

But who cares

This is quite random

Pickles and doughnuts are food

Concrete is grey

Have you ever thought

About writing a sonnet?

Don’t like sonnets much

The pistons running

Gas and smoke fill the air

The car race begins

I liked to play ‘round

‘Till I took a nasty spill

Now I hold a crutch

One Adelaide Kane

Puppy dog eyes, top notch brain

Her name rhymes with Reign!

Icky sticky day
Summers muggy in Texas
Can I visit you?

Political news
My eyes open 3 A. M.
Your eyes are closed

Too few hours per day
My blood pressure is sky high
Eat my stress instead

Snow on darkened screen
My ears hear the cricket’s call
Click. Off. Time for bed.
Summer afternoon
Nothing going on right now
Just here with my dog

Impostor syndrome
I will conquer it some day
Maybe not today…

Silence at midnight
Yet many worries linger
Tears on my pillow

An old world beauty
Violets blossom all over
This lovely city!
Latest edition
Erudition on display
Election surprise

Stuck in ourselves
Our minds lift above surface
To hear each other

Cold night ---
White flowers falling –
Death shroud ---
