Suffered writer’s block

Here’s my triumphant return

Welcome back to life

Resume is long

But I’m told, ‘This, not that, is

your job. Be useful.’

Children running fast

Hop, skip, tag, jump, kick, roll

Shrieks of joyous laughter

Runaway with me.

I want to go to bed and

wake up somewhere else.

Carry we cannot

All our belongings with us

Darn connecting flight

Elbow. Leg. Eyes. Hand.

A request to do something.

Yay speech therapy.

It’s Fourth of July

But feels like a normal day

Except fireworks!

Missed bags ride around

Atlanta to Seattle

It’s own carousel

Holiday spirits

Fourth of July fireworks, wow!

B-b-q tonight

If I go incog-

nito, my nom de plume be:

COVFEFE BIGLY

A dream reality

Inverted miniature

World in a tear drop

Summer vacation

Family fun adventure

Hot, sweaty long days

Hazy blue --
Afterthought of moon --
Silent dreaming -

Now I know cheese puns

I am quite gouda at them

But you’d brie better

Saturday morning

At the shelter, don’t know when

Stuff will go down. Yikes!

Patiently waiting

I’m starting to get angry

Turn left already
