When I read haiku
I hear them in the voice of
Lovely Barry White.

Call me Sir Speedy
I am a great thresher shark
I will eat you up

Flying planes is fun
And so is scuba diving
I like to pretend

Stone Pine digs its roots
far beneath the whole city;
Hear the tranquil sea.

Champion of seat
belts, airbags and drinking age:
Elizabeth Dole!

I love to travel
And stay in beautiful lands
I jump up and down

Florida is hot
I whine sadly and sweat lots
Quench it with ice cream

Tiny giggles sing
Happily above the haze
Tickle the mundane

Haiku are awesome
But sometime I don’t get them
Dumbo octopus!

I think I have a
meeting but I’m not sure
if he’s still coming?!

My toilet won’t flush
So I punched a hole in it
And now it flushes!

I went to Austin
To see black bats from a bridge
They did not take me

Having it all is
Not the same as having it
Together,  I learned.

Be true, you haiku!
What else could I do to you?
But to thine be true.

It's her conundrum
Enrique or Matty D
She falls for hero!

Toats, adorbs, cray cray.
Huh? What’s that? Is this English?
I feel old, how sad.

Love to sing it
Like to scream it all about
Haiku is awesome!

Chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp
A cricket? A bird? No. It’s…
The fire alarm.

Eyes flutter, breathe slows
My words begin to wander
Oh, glorious sleep!

Instantly the ball
is encircling the Earth:
World Cup has begun.

She seems so normal
The destroyer of all worlds
Drinking sweet iced tea.

In French, s’il vous plait
Digging back to high school French
Or Google Translate

Blue like the ocean. Stars
like in the atmosphere.
Red white stripes; ‘MUURKA.

In tangled vines
A ruby ripe for picking
Strawberry season!

I tried to shower
The water won't turn off now
Why did I move here?

Rows line up in rain,
Tassels that swing will now
drip, heavy of promise.

In the museum,
The woman eating looks real.
Up close: not so much.

Veronica Mars,
X-men, and lemon bars make
Sister time so fun.

Went to CVS
Tree killing receipt so long
Only bought one thing

My former roommate
Bullet proof Oakleys, he loves
Squint eye he still gives

On a lovely walk

I find a four leaf clover

My wish? A secret!

Has the earth revolved

‘Round the sun once more? What fun!

Happy Day of Birth!

Ackbar, are we safe?

Silently their gazes ask;

“It’s a trap!” says he.

Why take three hours

When you can do it in one?

Oh, meetings are hell.

Let’s go food shopping

With folks from other countries

They like Trader Joes

Kroger had a sale

PB cracker sandwiches

Good stuff, for reals

Every day in spring

With imaginary dogs

Out for a long walk

Dark grey, loud and strong

Rain has passed. Here comes the sun.

What’s up Roy G. Biv?

A bright sunny day

Is now a mere memory

Thunder rolls softly
