Chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp
A cricket? A bird? No. It’s…
The fire alarm.

Eyes flutter, breathe slows
My words begin to wander
Oh, glorious sleep!

Instantly the ball
is encircling the Earth:
World Cup has begun.

She seems so normal
The destroyer of all worlds
Drinking sweet iced tea.

In French, s’il vous plait
Digging back to high school French
Or Google Translate

Blue like the ocean. Stars
like in the atmosphere.
Red white stripes; ‘MUURKA.

In tangled vines
A ruby ripe for picking
Strawberry season!

I tried to shower
The water won't turn off now
Why did I move here?

Rows line up in rain,
Tassels that swing will now
drip, heavy of promise.

In the museum,
The woman eating looks real.
Up close: not so much.

Veronica Mars,
X-men, and lemon bars make
Sister time so fun.

Went to CVS
Tree killing receipt so long
Only bought one thing

My former roommate
Bullet proof Oakleys, he loves
Squint eye he still gives
